Assistant Bars Manager

 

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to take on the
role of Assistant Bars Manager in this four star, luxury city centre
hotel.
We are looking to recruit a confident, experienced and professional
individual for the role of Assistant Bars Manager for our
client’s luxury 4* hotel in Yorkshire. This very
prestigious property boasts a recently refurbished to an exceptional standard

and offer comfortable, modern facilities.

The hotel also features a large restaurant and bar area,
extensive conference and banqueting facilities and is a popular venue
for weddings.


As Assistant Bar Manager your main duties will include;
*Initially be based mainly in the main bar area and leisure bar area
overseeing the day to day running and ensuring that high standards are
maintained.
*You will be required to assist the Bars Manager with cellar
management, stock control, training staff and running shifts.
*This position would ideally suit a strong bar supervisor who is
looking to make the move into their first managerial position.
All applicants to this position should be a strong Bar Supervisor or
an experienced Assistant Manager within a hotel environment. Cellar
management would be ideal as would knowledge of GP and wastage. You
should be well presented, with excellent communication skills and a
passion for customer service and high standards.

Due internal staff movement my client is looking for an experienced Bar Manager. The multi outlet operation consists of a champagne bar with entrance on to the high street, main event bar plus ad hock bars for private dining.
This property, thanks to large scale refurbishment, is a key point in the local food and drink scene as well as being a successful leisure Hotel.
My client is looking for a strong well rounded manager who can provide strong leadership to all staff and maintain efficient financial and stock systems.
You will be given the freedom to develop the main bar, create new menus and special events.

Restaurant Manager country hotel

 

Newly refurbished country hotel is looking to recruit an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their friendly and professional staff team!!

This beautiful country hotel has recently undergone a huge renovation and refurbishment programme resulting in over 90 luxury en-suite rooms, F&B conferencing and wedding facilities, and a stylish and contemporary restaurant and bar area. The hotel has an outstanding reputation both locally and further a field and as a member of staff and management you will be required to maintain the existing high standard and provide exceptional levels of customer service at all times. As restaurant Manager you will work 5 days out of 7 as required.

 

You will be expected to:

*Oversee the daily operations of the hotels & rsquo; impressive restaurant and conferencing facilities and manage the F&B staff. *Train, motivate and develop your team to perform to high levels and push standards to work towards achieving accolades. *Oversee stock control, ordering, compiling staff rotas, up selling and promoting products, implementing new marketing and promotions strategies. *Ensure guest satisfaction at all times and bring your previous skills and experience to the company to support the overall business and to drive sales forward.

 

Applicants for this role will need to have previous experience in a quality hotel restaurant as a strong Assistant or an established Restaurant Manager with experience working in a proper of similar size and style.

As Restaurant Manager you will also be involved in the running of conference & events at the hotel and so will need knowledge of this area. You will be proactive, very driven and focused and will have good knowledge of staff training and recruitment, running a restaurant on busy shifts, stock ordering & control and will have a decent level of financial awareness as part of your role will include budgeting, GPs and meeting targets. Computer literate is a must and knowledge of fine dining / wines would be an advantage.

Receptionist

 

Stunning majestic luxury hotel set in North Yorkshire countryside requires a talented Receptionist to join their fantastic team and provide high levels of customer service.
This historic, four-star beautiful property has been sympathetically
extended and now features additional bedrooms plus a large restaurant
and conference facilities, which can cater for up to 140 delegates.
This successful hotel is currently searching for a Receptionist to
welcome guests and provide them with all the necessary information
and provide a point of contact.

The position of Receptionist comprises of:

Greeting guests and checking them into the front office system

Dealing with guest enquiries

;Providing information on the hotel, facilities and
local area; Anticipating guest needs

Proactively generating sales

Balancing the till after shift
Operating the switchboard
Completing reservations

The working pattern is five days out of seven, on a mixture of early
and late shifts, reporting to the Reception Manager.
For this position candidates must have hotel reception experience, a
warm telephone manner and take pride in their appearance. Someone who
is enthusiastic, ambitious and has knowledge of the Fidelio front office system would be most suited to this position. You must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to organise your workload around your front desk duties. Benefits include competitive salary, paid holiday allowance, free

Sous Chef

 

A talented Sous Chef is required for a prestigious property located in North Yorkshire whose fine dine restaurant is accredited with  AA Rosettes. This award winning hotel would like to appoint a Sous Chef who will be responsible for managing large brigade and deputising for the Head Chef. The hotel has been awarded with AA Rosettes and as a result it is necessary that all applicants to this position have previously worked in establishments of a similar standard. As Sous Chef you will be required to produce top quality dishes for both the fine-dine restaurant and the regular banquets, the hotel can cater for banquets of up to 300 guests and so volume experience is essential for this position.
