Finding A New Job.
York
E-mail and the internet can be a pretty faceless place - so
these tips will help you work with
recruiters, not against them.
.
Tips and tricks
- Only apply for jobs that fit your profile accurately
-
When you email the recruiter:
Put your name and job reference in the subject line.
Put your contact details in the body text.
Include a short description of your main skills in the
body.
Don't forget to attach your CV.
-
When you make contact with
the recruiter.
Remember to ask who the client is.
If another agency is working with you let them know.
- Check that the recruiter can work with your CV as it
stands.
- Agree a way forward and ask them when to expect
feedback.
If it's a very appealing role, the recruiter may be
inundated with applicants, therefore your job will be to
"get in - and get out" with a result. Your result is
to close the recruiter to agreeing to put your CV forward to
the client.
